Nunney Castle built in the 14th century and remodeled in the late 16th century was attacked in the English Civil War and lost its north wall from canon fire. It was never rebuilt and remains a ruin today. Canon 5D mk2 Samyang 14mm, iso 250 , 1/250 Sec at f11

      The North wall was never rebuilt but the remaining towers were still used for lookout purposes alot of the ruined wall was used in buildings of the surrounding village .
